You have always had an idea of how to revolutionise the way we work and live with plastics in a sustainable way?
Then take part in our #sustainabilitychallenge: 'Reduce | Re-Use | Recycle | Recover: From Waste to Wealth: Plastics in a Circular Economy – Sustainable Solutions and Innovation for a Greener Future' and make a difference - shape the future with your innovative and sustainable ideas.
We are always striving to further develop our processes and products and make them more sustainable. This is a continuous process and requires innovative and sustainable ideas.
Scientific findings, among other things, are of great importance for the corresponding progress. Therefore, the Indo-German Centre for Sustainability (IGCS) has supported students in interdisciplinary research, teaching, training and exchange in the field of sustainability and sustainable development for many years now.
Together we organize an annual virtual workshop where students learn about strategies and challenges in sustainability in the plastics industry and can implement their own ideas.
Take your chance for intercultural exchange and interdisciplinary learning. Moreover, you might get the opportunity to carry out a project supported by motan and the IGCS.
The Indo-German Centre for Sustainability (IGCS) is a joint Indo-German Centre developing interdisciplinary research, teaching, training and exchange in the area of sustainable development. Focus areas are Water management, Waste management, Renewable Energy, Land Use and Urban and Rural Development. The Centre aims at offering cutting-edge solutions in sustainable research through the intensification of Indo-German cooperation in key academic fields. The project is a collaboration between German TU9-Universities, Kiel University and the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM).
